POWDER SNOW DAYS
Most Grandpapa lodge`s visitor would note that the quality of the snow is second to none in Jan and Feb. The experience is made all the more enjoyable however by the easily accessible off piste terrain, managed via Niseko`s Gate System, the only one of its kind in Japan.
The `gates` provide access to some amazing backcountry riding and open when conditions are deemed low risk. Of course, be sure to read all the warnings before you go though!
SUN & POW. THE DAY !
From Dec to Feb, it is almost always snowing or grey weaher and skiers jamed into the big queue of lifts. In March, it alternated between sunshine and snowing. So we can have a day with powder and clear whether in uncrowded off piste terrains.
